Dynawave is based in North Vancouver, BC and was founded in 1986. The company develops OEM electronic products for various industries including bio-medical, professional film production, defense and consumer.

Our client list includes Warner Bros Studio Facilities, the Canadian Chiropractic College The Royal Canadian Navy and many private clinics. Dynawave has customers in more than 90 countries and is the largest Canadian exporter of Microcurrent Therapy devices under the trademark cellstim.

John Larsen
John LarsenFounder, CTO

 

John founded Dynawave Technologies Ltd in 1986. 30+ years experience in Conceptualization, Electronics Design, Metrology and managing the operations of an OEM electronics manufacturing company.

Product development includes;

Virion-Ctrl, a wireless electrochemical test strip reader for detecting  and quantifying viral load of SARS-CoV-2,

NovaWave-NIR, an autonomic nervous system driven near infrared modulated waveform diagnostic/treatment system. Test subjects experienced a 30% tumour size reduction over four months.

Previous developments include;

CellStim, advanced waveform bio-medical devices for accelerating tissue healing administered by physiotherapy and chiropractic,

Whistle Control, an industrial controller for sounding the ships horn in waterway standard international codes installed on the helms of the Canadian Navy fleet,

VTX UHF video transmitters for steadicam operators in the professional film industry.

Steven McClain is an Assistant Instructor in the BCIT ECET Dept. and Vice-Chair of IEEE Vancouver Section. Steven has worked with computers and technology for over 30 years. He has a Bachelor of Technology from BCIT Computer Systems. He has been an active member of IEEE Vancouver section for the last 15 years and has worked at BCIT as an Assistant Instructor for the last four. He is an expert C programmer specializing in embedded computer systems and PCB design using Altium.
